Temple Odom

Temple Odom is an Assistant Professor of Family and Child Ecology at Michigan State University. She teaches courses on family theory and child and youth development within the family. Her current research is focused on issues of justice for birthmothers in the foster care system. A practicing Marriage and Family Therapist, Ms. Odom’s clinical work for the past seven years has been conducted primarily with birth families whose
children reside in foster care. She lives in East Lansing, Michigan with her husband, Aaron, and their three children, Kersten, Isaac and Xander. Her birth son, Daniel, is 17.
