Jane Morgan

Jane Morgan is currently the Director of the Capacity Building Division of the Children’s Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, US Department of Health and Human Services. This Division coordinates child welfare training and technical assistance provided to States and Tribes to assist them in providing quality child welfare services. Under her leadership, the Children’s Bureau’s Training and Technical Assistance Network has been developed to enhance coordination and collaboration across the federal funded National Resource Centers and other national child welfare grantees. Ms. Morgan was recognized in 2005 with the Administration for Children and Families’ Assistant Secretary’s Award for Exemplary Leadership for her work in promoting the Department’s national adoption initiatives, including the Collaboration to AdoptUsKids project. Ms. Morgan joined the Children’s Bureau in 1999 as the National Adoption Specialist after a 23 year career in child welfare with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She is a member of the Child and Family Service National Review Team.
